Community platform for the Klown ecosystem. Social layer, content hub, identity service.
Klown has its community of security researchers, its CTFs, its writeups, its challenges. All this was scattered across Discord and Twitter — fragmented, unarchived, unsearchable. We wanted a single, citable place where community-produced knowledge is still readable five years later.
Klown Network is that place. A blend of forum, wiki, and challenge platform. Not a Discord-like — a structured space where a good answer rises, a bad one drops, and everything is citeable by permalink.
Three user roles: viewer (public read), contributor (post + edit), curator (moderation + tagging). MongoDB for schema flexibility — a challenge doesn't have the same structure as a writeup. SSO shared with Klown Vitrine so users have a single account.
WebSocket layer for real-time notifications on followed threads. Full-text search with scoring, indexed at write time. No infinite-wall algorithm — each section has its editorial order.
