Biographical AI for seniors 80+. A voice companion that collects life memories and watches for early signs of cognitive decline.
At 85, you don't learn a new interface. You answer when called. Digital tools for seniors often confuse dignity with simplification — they treat the elder like a child.
Memoria does the opposite. A tablet, one button. A kind voice that asks one question a day. Memories gathered are typeset and sent as a weekly Gazette to the family. And quietly, in the background, we listen to rhythm, vocabulary, hesitations — to spot what a doctor would notice six months apart.
On the tablet: React Native + NativeWind, a single view, one big button. No menu, no visible settings — everything is configured family-side.
On the server: a FastAPI pipeline that transcribes, analyses, archives. The Gazette is laid out in print-ready HTML+CSS, sent by email. The cognitive sentinel runs locally on transcripts, with no raw transcript persisted — only extracted features (syllable rate, lexical richness, hesitation rate).
The family dashboard (Next.js 15) shows memories, alerts, and a cognitive timeline readable by non-neurologists.
